Royal Dutch Pixie is a small T.I.C.A. registered cattery located in Holland  Hi, my name is Zulay. I currently live in Holland with my son Roberto who is twelve years old. All of my life I have had a passion for animals. My passion for animals is so great that my childhood dream was to become a veterinarian. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control I was not able to make that dream come true. In 1998, I took a trip to Orlando Florida, USA to pay my brother a visit. To my surprise he had two cats, one was a calico and the other a Bobcat. I was impressed with the Bobcat. Its paws, body, face and personality were amazing and I could not believe my eyes. It was indeed an amazing animal and I fell in love with it. In September of 2005, I got married and for our honeymoon we decided to make a short trip to USA, Mexico, and the Bahamas. When I got to the USA I stayed with my brother and he told me that he was planning on getting another Bobcat sometime in the near future. Of course, I was very happy for him but very sad in knowing that I could not have one due to the laws in Holland. When I returned from my trip I was determined to find out if there was a cat that was similar to a Bobcat that would be allowed in Holland. After days on the Internet, bingo, I found the most beautiful domesticated cat in the world that did indeed resemble a Bobcat, the PIXIE-BOB. I was fascinated, overwhelmed and exited, so I decided to get a Pixie-Bob. On December 16th, my first male arrived from Maryland USA, He is wonderful, handsome and wild looking but also the sweetest most gentile kitty. He has the most outstanding personality that I have ever seen in a cat. Maryan thank you, this precious kitten will be with me until the end. It is because of this wonderful male Pixie-Bob and the way he made us feel, I have decided to become a breeder. I hope to give other families here in Holland and around the world the same joy that this kitten has brought to us. Because this cat breed is very unique in Europe, I would like to expand its existence here as well. Therefore, I started a breeding program and my search for a gorgeous female began. So, by September of this year (2006), I will have her as well. For this I have Stacey to thank. I have no words to describe how thankful I am. With out you I could not have done it.
